Why Uptown?
Before Uptown, the founders had already been pioneers in building large-scale hostels and educational facilities across Northeast India for government projects and corporate initiatives. They were the preferred infrastructure partners for several leading universities and corporations, giving them deep insights into the real challenges students face.
Through years of experience, they realized a pressing need: professionally managed, benchmark-standard accommodation for students and young professionals in Northeast India. Existing PGs and private hostels lacked safety, facilities, and the lifestyle amenities that young people in other parts of the country enjoyed.
That’s what inspired Uptown — the region’s first Professionally Managed Shared Accommodation (PMSA) chain, offering more than 25 unique amenities that no traditional PG or hostel can match. From smart infrastructure and curated food services to safety, community living, and beyond, Uptown is setting a new benchmark in youth accommodation.
